| Experience, knowledge, understanding … and human too!
The three directors of Quadrillion have been in the construction business all their working lives. They’ve seen many changes since the mid 1970’s – and learned a lot about construction projects at the grass roots.
John Owen left Galliford Try Partnerships in 2004 as Managing Director to launch Quadrillion. “I was focused on the affordable housing and community care projects at Galliford and I could see that there was a real need for a niche organisation to deal with construction projects on a more personal and hands-on level. It didn’t take long to work out that this was a path I wanted to follow – and that’s how Quadrillion was formed.”
Along with John David Faint left Galliford Try Partnerships Ltd in 2004 as Operations Director: “The idea of this kind of approach was really appealing – it’s satisfying to see a project from conception to completion, knowing that I have an influential role in it’s success.”
The third Director of the team, Crevan Dunlop, again has an impressive track record. From an estimator with J. Laing Ltd, straight out of school, he left Galliford Hodgson (as it was then) in 2002 as Managing Director to pursue his own property development business. This has been dovetailed into his work with Quadrillion. “I’ve found the two roles fit neatly together. It’s very rewarding working as part of a team – and I’ve worked with both John and David before, we complement each other well.”
With all that experience, knowledge and understanding – you know you’re in good hands with this team.
