Talbot Inn, Ripley, SurreyBack
This project involved the creation of luxury rooms including a bridal suite in the east wing of a listed hotel building. The hotel is located on the former main London to Portsmouth road with historical connections to Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton.
Understandably the building is listed and within the conservation area of the charming village of Ripley. All internal features including fireplaces and cornices were lovingly restored whilst floors and walls were thermally and acoustically upgraded. The existing sash windows received special attention and improvement while retaining the charm of this listed façade.
The rooms were transformed in only eight weeks and guests occupied the rooms the day of handover.
No wonder the celebrity chef, Marco Pierre White soon acquired the hotel and added it to his collection.
